Coralie was raised in a family dedicated to gourmet cuisine and close to nature. Her grandfather was an awarded chef who ran a Relais & Chateaux in the French countryside. This is where she spent most of her childhood. The notions of respectfully working the land, growing and farming the best of what earth has to offer, made a strong imprint on her during that time. She connects to the world mostly through her senses and was naturally attracted to starting a career as a sommelier. At the age of 25, she opened a wine bar in Brussels and had a fantastic 5 years making people discover wine and enjoy regional foods.
She studied naturopathy in Belgium and met a Chinese medicine master who taught her about the connection between humans and plants in the light of the Yi-King wisdom. She soon created herbal remedies based on this knowledge to help people understand how they function from a hormonal point of view and how they can balance themselves and remain healthy.
After selling her wine bar and doing a 1 year trip around the world, she found Seychelles. The perfect place to build up her project “Yi-King” where she collects ingredients only found in Seychelles forests and produces organic care products.
